We offer private sessions - with in home sessions availible for an additional travel cost.

We believe that dogs can easily assimulate into society through the establishment of rules, boundaries and limitations. Clear training goals make everyone’s life easier, and we are happy to help both the enthusiast, and seasoned K9 handler get the most out of their relationship with their dog. We are here for your success, and are happy to help in any way that we can. We have been fortunate to work with a number of different dog breeds, and client needs, and love seeing handlers be challenged and grow. References are available upon request. We offer subsequent sessions because we want you to practice at home. Your dog will hold you accountable, and will “tell on you” if you haven’t been practicing!

All sessions are offered in 1hr intervals

FoundatioN Work

Foundation laying is about understanding the basics. We will cover everything from basic obedience, luring, the art of giving the appropriate correction, the importance of timing and communication techniques with your dog. Our goal is to help both dog and handler understand each other. When communication and expectations are clearly understood, training becomes easier. This consultation session allows us to lay the groundwork towards estabilishing a training program for both you and the dog. We introduce the basics including heel, sit, stay, place and come.

Single session is $100, or 5 sessions for $450

Advanced obedience

As we work to master communication with our dogs, we can begin to create deseriable behaviors which allow us to become responsible K9 handlers. Advanced Obedience allows us to perfect and proof many of the behaviors we expect of our dogs particularly in a public setting - by increasing the duration of a sit or down, and distraction proofing behaviors - such as “Leave it”. Advanced Obedience is structured to allow for your dog to become an upstanding canine citizen while interacting with the general public. We solidify heel, sit, stay, place, come, leave it, navigating crosswalks, ignoring scents, sights, sounds, distraction proofing and greeting of strangers.

Single session is $125, or 5 sessions for $575

Problem Solving

Insecurity, nervousness, separation, environmental stressors, resource guarding? Why do our dogs behave like this, and how can we help them overcome these difficulties. SavantK9 views each dog as an individual - and works alongside owners to address problem areas, and apply training tactics best suited for the individual dog.

Problem solving sessions are $150
