Savant’s Rock

Rock comes out of some hard fighting coyote dogs out of Nebraska. He’s 1/2 Russian Wolfhound, 1/4 Deerhound and 1/4 Greyhound. His sire Hatchet is a natural ear dog on hogs, and a head and throat dog on Coyotes. He is a tall, lightly built male who is a very hard dog. Rock’s Dam Mollie is a pure coyote dog, slightly heavier in type, she has a very hard mouth and is skilled at dispatching quarry. Rock is proving to be a strong and substantial male with good speed, and endurance. He has phenomenal drive, and should mature into an impressive adult. He’s also proven himself useful as a “draw dog” - a characteristic that is seldom seen in most staghounds.
